We’ve had a horrible April here in Maine. Snow two weeks in a row followed by an arc-building deluge this past weekend. Half the city has been without power due to 60 mph winds that broken old branches and took down power lines. I tried to take some surf pictures yesterday, but decided I didn’t need to power-wash my SLR.

This morning I was greeted by two visitors in my front yard. Normally the “pit”, as we call it, is dry and the daffodils (mound on right) are approaching bloom. Not today. Today I have a pond and I enjoyed the stopover by the fitting fowl.
