Blue Moon:
In the spirit of the nightscapes, I have been playing around with long exposure shots this week. Here is an attempt at shooting my spa at midnight under a nearly full moon.

Hmmmm, nice spa. Makes me wanna jump in :D

Really like the third one, Jam. My eyes are getting a bit too old for the others, even with glasses.

Beautiful hibiscus photos Jam! I drove from LA to Phoenix earlier this week. The desert is covered with these thorny bushes with little splashes of red:

If you look closer the blooms are really beautiful:

Fastmarc:
How do you get it to stay so still? Was there no breeze at all?

Hahah!
Trust me Marc, there was nuff Breeze.
I had to brace the flower against my finger, plus I was using manual focus in these shots so I had to be twisting the lens and rocking back and forth a few inches at a time.

What you're seeing is probably the best/most in focus stuff out of 50 shots!

Larry, say it ain't so, you're never too old for shots like that :)!

Ken, those are gorgeous as usual.
Where did you go in Phoenix?
Did you get a chance to visit the botanical gardens?
I was there a few years ago, beautiful city and landscape :D.

Jam, it was just a quick one-day in and out meeting of an industry organization. I still do a fair amount of volunteer work for several engineering/concrete industry associations. I have heard nothing but good things about the botanical gardens in Phoenix, I absolutely MUST make a point of leaving some time for that the next time I am there. Thanks for the kind words, ++Ken++

Jam those are really cool. I didn't have a ton of pictures left after the break-in while in Curacao, but here are a few..
