I was bored so decided to hop the train and go to SF for some more nightscapes.

View from Twin Peaks....

Both images are HDRs from 7-8 different exposures. I usually don't do night HDR as the result usually comes out a bit noisy but these turned out well.
I love your nightscapes... Thanks for sharing the tip about HDR.

Blue Moon

In the spirit of the nightscapes, I have been playing around with long exposure shots this week. Here is an attempt at shooting my spa at midnight under a nearly full moon.

Blue Moon

Catherine, I'd love to have your view! The people in the bubble WA shot is really cool too. Midwest, those SF night shots of yours just keep getting better. Jam, the dewdrop shot is killer. Blue Moon, I like the blue lighting you got on the fountain.

Blairgowrie Yacht Squadron Marina, Victoria Australia. 3m (9ft). 1st April 2007

Great picture, almost more like a painting than a photograph.
Was this shot with natural light?

We woke up to this here in So. Maine this morning. 20" in some places. The ground was bare yesterday.

Finally got here. The housing and strobe are old but everything else is new :D (not pictured are the wet lenses). Can't wait to get this thing wet. Also thinking of getting a backup cam. The a610s are selling cheap (i think) on ebay. Adjusting the arms will take some getting used to. I had gotten used with just twisting the locline arms into place. Now I have to use the clamps. It's been waaaaay too long since I've shot photos underwater and I feel like I'm starting all over again.
