Hey Jam, I saw in the thread that you have a liking for rallying and you're thinking of taking some photos. You should. You have very good skills. I'm sure you woul'd come out with some good photos.
Here's a photo someone took of me on a sprint event about a month ago with a basic looking camera. When I asked what setting he was using, he said, "Settings???"
I think you'll do a little better.;)

Lol, thanks Marc :).
I was thinking of heading out to one of the stage rallies in the cane field or wherever one of these days, if I can find the time..

Loved the pic from Mexico, were you one of the Jamaican contigent competing in the Mexican rally a few months ago or so??
Nice to see you guys do our country proud.
The WRC site has some truly great photography on it.

Great macro of the coral in your tank :)...

2 recent photos......, trying to move away from just macros but lol I can't resist.

Hi guys :)

It's so good to be back - I have been wrpped up in RL stuff...
But took a quick break away to Cape Town to regain my sanity inder water and thought that I would share my joys with you

A shy little Hermit Crab
If you zoom in on the pic you can clearly see his eyes and hairy little legs

An octo hiding in the chimney of the wreck we visited

So many little shy sharks to be found
Also the only type of shark I have ever encountered in the Cape Waters

The Seals at Seal point.
I think I need to mention at this point that Seal Point and Seal Island are 2 different places. Seal Point is about 2,5Km north of Seal ISland and that Seal Island has been closed to divers due to the shark board research on the great whites.

You really capture those shots very nicely, Jam. Very clean.

That picture from Mexico was when I went there for their first WRC event there. We had a couple of Jamaicans running in it as well. I haven't run one as yet. Very expensive to run a WRC event.

I continue my adventure in CateTown :)

The Seals were very playfull at first and I was amazed how they identified the guys with cameras and actually did a quick Madona "Vogue - Strike a pose - nothing to it" routine

Although they were fun to start with as you'll see in these clips - they eventually got threatning in order to drive us away from their rock.

Some other under water pleasures were of cause the plant life - often under stated I think...

Nice shots, Marc. I also love night scenes. I've posted some in this thread, before, as have a few others.
