I have heard that they are found in a very small area. I have black water experience. But not a location to dive. Can anyone help me out?

I would contact Bill Routh at Off the Wall Diving. He does tooth trips all the time in the Charleston area. http://www.offthewalldiving.com/2.html and tell him that I sent you his way. He is a super guy and could tell you more about tooth and artifact diving than you want to know. He knows the Cooper River quite well and picks the best weeks as far as tides to dive the river. I know a lot of folks that have gone with him and the dives are very productive. He has his own shop, but a lot of other shops use him as a captian and his boat for that trip.

Good luck and let us know what you find and where you go!

Where's the St. Mary's River?

No, but you've sure got my curiosity peaked? Post if you find out any more information.
