Interesting...
The pak does just not seem wide enough for me. Have it next to my computer and jsut tired the fold that was illustrated above...

I fold my repeatedly down from the top, then stuff it sideways into the pak.

Hey Jag,
I use a small 6" leash w/my 6' bag...since the clip is so close to the bag itself.
I just folded it a few seconds ago and it fit into my pack nicely....sideways as well.
....be creative....the fold in the pics is there to give one an idea of how to do this but by no means represents the
only way to fold and pack the SMB...if you cannot fit it one way, try another.
Just remember that we want it to stow nicely and be able to deploy it easily as well.

the mouth of the pack is smaller than the body,, i have seen those who use the surface marker and they stuff it fine ,but,,, if you start the corners then send it up into the body,, it should pack just fine

Looks like all has been covered, but just to be sure all understand. ALL sm devices need to be folded small so that they fit easily through the throat of the SMP and they are easily deployable from this spot. Bob Sherwood@GUE.com

Hi Brad,
Here's a few pics that may help--I've attached them to this post, I hope they show up---....(Ed gave a nice description as well.)
My SMB was worn in my pack the whole class. I could''ve sworn we removed it, folded it, and replaced it for all to see on Sunday of the class.
Anyway, we're (your GUE instructors) happy to help w/any questions you may have, just give us a hollar!
