Now that she's eating her tank mates, she'll probably be moved soon. Better go see her while you can.
I'm headed there next Friday. I hope they drag their heels in terms of releasing her. I've got my fingers crossed!

She has increased the MBA revenue by over 40%!!
I think they will be keeping her as long as possible-they will gladly donate a few soupfins!

I saw her a couple of weeks ago and, while it was very cool to get to see a live great white, she wasn't physically all that impressive. Don't get me wrong - it's still well worth heading out there to see her, but she's not quite jaws (yet) and is still a little banged up and malformed looking from being caught.

My favorite was the ball of anchovies they recently added to the same tank. Talk about stressed fish! I can't imagine what it must be like for them with huge natural predators circling in every direction. People were ooohing and aaahing out loud when the school would dart one way or the other.

Is that what that was?
I was checking out the Outer Bay cam and kept thinking "Is that a school of... nahhh they wouldn't do that." lol

Hopefully they can save the anchovies by keeping all of the other guys well-fed. When I was there, they were feeding the anchovies krill. They sure add some flair to that tank.

And something you don't want to see during your deco stops...

I watched her on the webcam the other day, I wondered how long it would be before dorado or ahi became the meal of choice. BTW, the "monterey bay" cam is a nice supplementary tool to use to check the swell.
