Mayan Palace Riviera Maya

:cheerleader:Anyone staying at Mayan Palace on March 14-20? Husband and I planned on diving cenotes on March 15(Cenote Xpererience) and Puerto Morelas(Dive-IN) on March 17&18. It would be great to get together for a drink or dive together! Taxi fare to PDC is around $24 and Puerto Morelas $12, I'm hoping it a round-trip. Also, I heard but haven't confirmed about a collective van from the Mayan to PDC for $5. Anyone can confirm this to be true staying at the Mayan Palace Rivera Maya? :cheerleader:

Unfortunately I will not be there to go diving with.

I do one or two trips the Riveria Maya each year and always use the colectvo if I go somewhere. I always stay south of PdC because it is a shorter walk from the resort to the highway.

To catch the colectvo walk to the highway and wait for it. They will flash headlights if they have room. Wave and they will stop. Remember where you get off in town so you can get the colectvo back to your resort. Make sure you catch the right colectvo, you don't want to to to Tulum by mistake. Last year when i was there it was $3usd each way.

I have taken my scuba gear (no tanks) on the colectvo.
