anyone want to go diving this Sunday, May 8?

i know it's Mother's Day, but my mom is spending it out of town with my sister.

so.... anyone?? you might get to see something amazing, and i don't mean
my super-high air consumption

Andy, drive down here and go out of West Palm with us..... A lot more to see here. We've even had a big ol' hammerhead hanging out the last few weeks.

i sure would love to...

it's such a long drive for me, that i usually go for a Saturday and a Sunday.
it's about time for me to make a trip... so.... maybe soon!

So you talking FW or SW?

well, i was thinking fresh, but if you take me up on an ocean dive, i'd go for that

they're expensive around here (about $80 per two-tank dive)

do you want to plan for a charter this Sunday?

That's about what I am used to paying up in the Pacific Northwest, so it doesn't shock me $$wise.

I guess we should ask Jeandiver if she would be interested. She doesn't have enough saltwater dives under her belt (and she'd say the same about me and FW).

Of course, you do get spoiled by those 2 tank So. Fl. charters that you pay $45-50 for. But I also realize that it costs a great deal more to run a boat 20 miles offshore than it does 2 miles offshore :D

PM me with a phone number and I'll call you from work tomorrow!

Jeff

jeff, the forecast doesn't look good:

SATURDAY

NORTHEAST WINDS 15 KNOTS. SEAS 4 TO 6 FEET. INLAND WATERS
A MODERATE CHOP. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS.

SUNDAY

NORTHEAST WINDS 10 TO 15 KNOTS. SEAS 3 TO 5 FEET. INLAND
WATERS A LIGHT CHOP.

with those seas, the local guys won't go out

OK...How about fresh??? :eyebrow:

I am on call part of this weekend to , but I can work around most things...You guys decide and I will see if I can go with the flow!!!
Jeff: Yes I do need more Saltwater dives fer sure , ya you betche dere !!!

But hey , as Scubafool says: I do LOVE looking at wet rocks !!!

Jean

Okay, the ocean is out. Where are you guys going to dive? I might join you.

Well, dang it!

Here I drove all the way down to WPB last weekend to do a bunch of diving (like I was looikng at doing a total of seven dives) and we only got two in :11:

And now the water is going to be cra*py here.

Well, at the least, we don't get any 4-6 footers at the springs....

Wet rox.... how strange.....
