We have had some people bow out of this trip so I am posting two seats for GLWC members to visit the Regina and a wreck to be determined by weather conditions (Mary Alice B., Colonel Williams, Sport, etc....)

PM me if you aren't already on the list (You know who you are) and are interested. The boat is bought, so the money is being handled by me.

Thanks and I hope to see more wrecking crew members....

Would like to join but will be in California that weekend. Hope you have a great dive.

Brian,

Is the boat setup going to be doubles friendly..? Or should I plan of lugging out my 119's...? Looking at the photo's on the website looks like they bungie all the tanks down, so no il-fitting clamps sized to 7.25" tanks...

Hi Tim.

I'm not Brian - obviously I hope! LOL But, I have been on the Sylvia Anne a few times. She is definitely doubles friendly. Has a great ladder and an even better captain. Weather permitting you are sure to have a wonderful charter.

Paula

I was on the Sylvia Anne a couple of weeks ago. (Thanks for being my dive buddies, Paula and Ted.)

She is doubles friendly and knowing this, I am bringing my twin hundreds. She also has an enclosed cabin if the weather gets nasty. Captain Gary is a great captain as well. (OK, all I did was back up Paula's statements, so sue me.)

Seeing that we have some activities planned for post dive...

Could we get a count of who all is going for certain so that our gracious hosts for said post dive activities know how many crazy divers to expect?

This will also determine how much everybody pays as the cost of the boat will be split among the number of divers that show. This trip is going barring horrid weather, but we will need to know that number by Saturday for that reason as well.

My plan (drawn with the finger in beach sand, not carved in stone) is to meet everyone at a restaraunt in Port Sanilac about noon. We should be able to start boarding the boat at 1:00 pm. This will give us time to get waivers signed and ready to hand to Captain Gary upon boarding. Please remember to bring a C-Card and your logbook as I will guarantee that he checks C-Cards and may check logbooks.

The confirmed list so far (We have room for ten divers comfortably):

Brian
GTXL1200
Gavin
Tom
Dave
Tiny Bubbles
Netmage
Scott Siddell

Thanks,

Brian

BTW, if we get ten divers total (maybe even if we don't), yours truly will throw in an amount equal to what we had at the first GLWC Meet and Greet of "Sam's Best" from the Black Forest if it is available.
