I'll be in LA area two nights on business and will bring my dive gear (but rent tank(s) and weights somewhere, perhaps Sea D Sea?). I'm PADI OW certified and finished two books working toward SSI AOW certification. I've done 3 night dives on New England shore with 20 dives total (add'l hours of pool time I haven't counted).
Reading past threads it sounds as if Veterans Park is an easy dive spot I'd be near. Also appears that "Reef Seekers" has a monthly night dive they're running this Wednesday - so I'm hoping to show up for this.
At the risk of work disrupting my 'plans' I wondered if a local diver wanted to try and buddy up for a dive either evening? I'll apologize in advance that 'Mr Murphy' may derail my hopes for getting wet (since the company is flying me to LA, AND paying for hotel etc 'they think the own me' ;-). BUT if I don't at least plan for some diving I know for certain it won't happen.
I can PM someone my cellphone IF it looks like this might work out for someone. I'll then keep them posted whether work commitments disrupt things. Thanks in advance.
