Guys:

Knock it off, this guy is asking a serious question. Your choices are give him a straight answer, or shut up.

You will be fine. Just change the burst disks to the appropriate pressure and you will have no issue at all. The above poster was right, we here in cave country put 3800-4000 in our 200 bar manifolds every day.

I'm so sick of the uneducated fear mongers on this forum.

Talk about the pot calling the kettle black. There is so much miss information when it comes to cylinders that the scuba industry is laughable. The 200 vs 300 question comes up quite frequently so frequently that there is a FAQ on it. Next time I will add a bunch of smilies for ya so you know it was humor :mooner:

Thanks for all of the information. I got the manifold today and it even included the plugs to convert the doubles into single if I want to. I also picked up a Dive Rite Classic wing from Leisurepro (they're selling them on clearance for less than used wings are selling on ebay) and a slightly used Pteradactyl backplate and harness. So now all I need are a pair of 7.25 inch tank bands.

Wow, so you have decided to go to doubles. I think you will be able to get all your questions answered by the DNY crew at Dutch when you are there. I am doing doubles now too but I am doing independent sidemounts.

Maybe I will see you Sunday.

I'll definitely be there on Sunday and I know I will have lots of questions. Unfortunately, I will not have the bands for my tanks since I just ordered them today, so I'll still be diving singles.

I assumed anyone with the user name of "Scared Silly" was joking.:rofl3:

I do appreciate the link to the FAQ page. It had some extremely useful information.

Thanks
