Maui video services

You guys are awesome. Thanks for all the help with planning our Maui vacation.
I would like to have my dives videotaped. The only dive shop that I've found with this service is Maui Dive Shop. Do you guys know of any other dive shop with this service? I'm also curious of the price at Maui Ds. Thanks

I believe that Shaka Tours also does video tapes - Shaka Doug is a member here on SB, so you might contact him. Also check with B&B scuba as they may offer video now as well.

Shaka does video for sure, he's always showing off his video skills. Brad from B&B video taped our anniversary dive last June 7th out at Molokini. I'm not certain if he offers that on a regular basis but I have a feeling if you request it then it will happen

Aloha...Shaka Doug here...Tim and Al are correct...I do offer video taping of your dives. I can supply a DVD or VHS copy, edited with titles and music added. It's quite reasonable too. I am also shooting digital photos with my Canon S-70. One of the nicest features of this camera is that I can combine photos and multiple 30 second video clips all on a CD Slide show for you. Had to pass kudos on to Shaka Doug! Went diving with Shaka Divers "Doug" in October and had an amazing time. I went on three different shore dives with Doug during my stay -all very unique experiences. He put together a great video/photo keepsake for us and I know with certainty we will dive with Doug again when we return to Maui hopefully early 2006. Great price and Doug definitely personalized our video so it does not have a corporate/touristy feel to it.

Charley at Scuba Shack does an awesome job of videos! I have several and whenever I want to go to my "happy place," plus one into the DVD player and I'm back on Maui in a heartbeat, mentally if not physically!

The company that does the video work for Maui Dive Shop is called PURE Digital Maui and you can check out their website at:

They offer both DVD and VHS services. The DVD comes with lots of nice bonus footage on top of what is filmed on your dives.

As for Scuba Shack, they damn near dropped an anchor on my dive group once while diving the St. Anthony!! YIKES!!! Very careless...
