Maui Monthly - June 3rd

We tried to dive Palauea Beach yesterday and viz was almost zero close in, no more than 10' further out, and I called the dive 15 minutes into it because I was tired of finding coral heads with MY head.

Dunno if it's better further north, but we'd be willing to drive.

I had a wonderful time yesterday with Mark, David (his son), Larry (friend of mine) and our visiting "dignitaries" Peter and Lynne - afterwards several of us went to lunch and were able to enjoy "dive talk" for bit. That part is becoming one of my favorite parts of our Monthly dives together - I learn a lot from these informal visits and it's even more interactive than SB discussions

Thanks to everyone who participated yesterday - you made my day
