Maui in February

My wife and I just booked a trip to Maui for February 2010. We are staying in Ka'anapali.

Any recomendations on Dive Shops & Must do Dive Sights (outside of the back wall of the Molokini Crater)?

Any places to stay away from in February?

I've seen some dive shops out of Kihea, is it worth the 1 hour trip at 5 AM to use them rather than one in the area we are staying?

Good dive spots to see the whales?
