Hi,

I'll be going to Maui from 2-8 Jan and plan to dive the Molokini back wall and whatever else seems worthwhile around there. My wife had to cancel her trip so I'm looking for a dive buddy who would be interested to do some diving in this period. I have about 50 dives and hold an PADI AOW certification. Anybody interested?

I'd love to... but I'm going to be off-island for that exact time frame!

Sorry!

We're doing Band B Scuba out of Kihei on Friday the 5th (I think that's the right date, it's the right DAY anyway), then we're going to go with Kidspot for the Saturday dives (BTW, Kidspot, Pm me with the location and times. I may need some help where to get tanks, etc near the dive). Hopefully Band B will do either reefs end drift or back wall drift, either one's a tremendous drift dive. I'll also request St. Anthony's wreck - great turtle action, decent little wreck to play around with.

Then, on Monday the 8th (again, date may be wrong, but the DAY isn't), we're doing Lahaina Divers, Lanai Trip. If you haven't dove Maui before it's a real winner. Great boat, great ride out, great diving.

Tuesday the 9th, we're doing the Carthaginian afternoon with Lahaina Divers. Another great dive.

My buddy is brand-new, but cert was some difficult dives so I'm confident in his ability, especially with the hand-holding that goes on in HI. I'm rescue, got probably 100 dives in Maui alone.

If you make any of these, let me know, it's always good to know somebody on the boats!

Just Came back from Maui .Had the same problem. So I turn for help at B & B scuba
http://www.bbscuba.com/. Did several boat dive with them. Really like service.
My advise to you ask if there are any students on board before dive or only cert.
If they are only cert you will have mach better diving.
I had fun:

so could you.....
P.S. Shore diving is good but I like boat more.

Something thicker maybe, depends on how you are with water that's around 76 or so.
