I know that we had a spate of brownwater last week, but anyone here on the island? I've been following snorkel report and keeping up with the Mantas, but more information is better. My sister and bro in law got there last week and I'm headed there Tuesday for a week. Visiting our parents in Wailuku so all good either way, but I was really hoping to hit Makena and Mala at the least. Saw the surf today and yesterday - wish I was there for it.

No one’s going in the water right now, at least on the south side. all shops have canceled dives. mirky water and large waves=not good. Heard most are also staying out of the water on west side. swell waves should die down by tomorrow evening but will take some time to ckear water of debris, etc. Molokini anyone?
