I just saw Matrix Reloaded last night and I was a tad dissapointed. I was expecting a little more from it....

I'll definetly see the 3rd one, but just wished this one was a little more.

Any other opinions?

I think the third one will make the second much better and more relevant.

Reloaded feels like it was a total set up for another movie, and it doesn't stand too well on its own.

I think that as a whole, the trilogy will turn out extraordinarily well.

it was really set up for another movie.... but in general I thought it was pretty good.... I will see the third one.. I have to know how it ends now!!:)

Kayla:)

I thought it was a very good movie. Not as good as the first but worth seeing. Lots of deep things going on, like, if Neo could feel the machines at the very end was this yet another matrix he was in like another layer or was he able to feel them because the machines were part of the Matrix… hmm

I thought that the fact that he had power in the real life was interesting....but maybe like you said Wyno..maybe the real life as Neo, Morpheous, Trinity know it...is actually another Matrix..

So you have a Matrix within a Matrix......

That whole meeting between him and the creator of the Matrix was just too much for me to take on one sitting...I was confused by the 3rd word..hehehe

After seeing it a few times, reloaded begins to make a bit more sense, comparing them one for one with the first, its not as good, but then again, it wasnt designed to be seen on its own, probably why reloaded and revolutions were filmed together, and only have a 6 month wait between the two, reloaded is alot like a step back from the original, a vast overview to the philosophy behind the matrix, i ended up asking more questions than getting answers to the ones i had
i think a matrix marathon will be in order in november, only then will they all fall into place and make sense :)

question is, how many of you sat through the 12 and a half minute trailers to see the sneek peak of revolutions? :)

not as good as the 1st one. but than again like that was even possible... i mean the 1st one was something completely different!!! in every sense of the word..

i believe our criteria is very high after it. and than again the 2nd is not meant to 'stand alone'...

talk with the architecture -> i was 100% concentrated... but i'm still not sure i got everything :)
'matrix within the matrix' idea -> i don't even want to think about that :D

all in all i have to say i'm not at least disappointed and would like to see it again... and again, and again...

Okay I'll come clean....the only reason I watched it or pretend to watch it is/was because of Trinity. She's very attractive for her age:wacko:

Gotta buy the DVD when it comes out:mean: I like the fight scene with the oriental guy before he met with the oracle.

Dan:bonk:
