Easy Rhino,

I thought you were asking how to prevent mask squeeze. I misread your post. The question I asked was to determine if your OW class was inadequate. It is not your fault if your instructor didn't cover the required material. It is a good idea to try to fix those problems so they don't hurt future divers. If it was covered in your OW class, you made a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes. If it wasn't covered, you need to discuss it with your OW instructor to make sure that doesn't happen in the future.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who's come out of the inhibitor field.

Easy Rino,

I, like Walter, thought you were asking how to prevent it. An I was also concerned that you hadn't had the training to do the EQ. If I came off as a little blunt, I do appologize. EQ seems to be something I don't think about... it just happens for me. Even my ears EQ most of the time with no intervention from me. It just happens. I sometimes forget that it doesn't always happen that way for others.

Again I appologize.

Dive safe, dive often.

:D

Thanks, I feel a lot better......

I guess I am more upset with myself for not being a more careful diver. The 25 previous dives to 80-90 feet never caused this problem. I guess I made the mistake of not exhaling out my nose to equalize the mask. I made a mistake, yes.. one that I hope not to repeat.

Thanks for the feedback....

Rhino:)
