I dive a US Divers tri-pane mask. Great vis. However, I notice a farily strong amount of pressure at my nose where it meets my upper lip. After a long dive, the pressure can become quite painful. I suppose the pressure may come from the pinch that is created when my reg moutpiece causes my upper lip to press the skirt of my mask in that area upward toward my nose.

Anyone out there experience something similar and already have a solution?

I have a US divers mask that does the same thing. I'm guessing it's the fit of the mask and not the reg, since I don't have this problem with any of my other masks. I would recommend getting another mask with a better fit...

I have had that same problem in the past when using an aqualung cozumel II and a Dacor viz. I finally determined that the problem was the fit of the mask and not my regulator pushing. I went with a oceanmaster Z2 which has a wider nose pocket. I have had no problem since then, though the purge occasionally gets pushed into my nose in really strong current. Also be sure your silicon skirt is not collapsing inward.
