My son had rhinoplasty mid May and we leave on a scuba trip the last week of June. Technically he is ok to dive but there is concern on any mask putting too much pressure on his bridge or any nose area.

I can see older threads for masks that accommodate high bridges or large noses and maybe that’s what I should look for but was curious if anyone has dealt w dive masks after nose surgery?

No experience with wearing a dive mask after surgery, but I wonder if wearing an old-school oval mask would eliminate all concerns.

My doctor made me wait 3 months and my nose felt like it wasn't mine for at least a year. Longest 3 months of my diving "career".

When I started back I just used my regular mask that fit comfortably and took it easy.

Good luck and have fun!
