Also, it might be that if you are unshaven that this is allowing water into the mask.

when I was in stupid shallow water, it was fine.
second I got below 5. it started dropping. 10' full on flooding.

Had a mask behave exactly that way long ago in a pool when I rigged the snorkel between my head and the mask strap. (-still looking for the embarassed emoticon...)

Also, as you descend, your neoprene hood compresses and becomes thinner. This could make your mask strap too loose at depth. I have this problem fairly often with my neoprene drysuit. My weightbelt is tight at the surface, but 100' down, the suit is much thinner and the belt can feel a bit loose. Just to justify this thread being in the Western Canada section.... Whytecliffe! Ogden Point! Dodd Narrows!

I was able to fix it on sat.. had a leak at 30', cleared my mask and by some holy finger of jesus, the clearing actually fixed the issue all together.
went diving at 75' on Sunday.. no problems at all.

Well that is good news. Sometimes you do not need to know why, just that it is fixed. You have been given enough ideas in this thread though, that if it happens again, you have a whole list of things to check and try.
