My wife and I tried on several masks over the weekend and we both decided we liked the Mares X-Vision the best. She will be able to get corrective lenses for that mask and it seemed to fit us both really well. Diving will tell for sure. Now I need to decide on whether I want a black or clear skirt. I have read that black ones tend to be preferred by photographers (I am just starting to do underwater photography) since there is less light let in through the sides that could reflect off the lens and distract the diver. But I did prefer the clear skirt since it gave me better peripheral vision. How big a factor is the black skirt for photography? Thanks again for all the advise, Rufous.
