The turtle must be this guy.

My husband "caught" him last year - but did not see the Dungeon.
 
I was not diving only snorkeling so could not go very close.

Sorry Andy, my ISP messed up and my site is down. Should be back in 24hours, at which point the photos will reappear.
 
I was there last week and I think I saw both. Were them near El Quseir? I was at the Movenpick resort and the dugong was one of the dives suggested. Apparently though you have to be kind of lucky to see it. one of the instructor went there more than 20 times without seeing it!

Yes I think it was EL Quseir.
You need to be very lucky to see one of them you saw both.

I snorkeled for more than 1.5 h and I just saw the turtle (Meglio di niente) :D

well I saw A turtle, dunno if it was the one he saw as well... for sure it was a male.
as for the other one, I'm pretty sure it's the only one in the area, so...
