Does anyone here have experience of using QR codes (the 2D bar codes)? Successful or not.

Most of my market is transient con-ed sold on the spot, immediately following a previous class, or not sold at all. Most customers do not stay more than 2 weeks. Most of my customers do little to no research before arriving other than word of mouth and a quick bit of internet (most don't go so far as to read reviews on sites like TA). However most travel with a smart phone or iPad - which makes me think about QR codes, reader apps and what I can do with them.

I am about to start a little survey of my customers - who has heard of them, who has used them, who has a reader app for them, who would know what to do with one, etc...
