I'm a Fish!
I just recently purchased this set (Mares XR 75XR DR Full Tek Set) and did some searching but couldn't find any manual or information on the Mares site. Does anyone have a link to these regs or any experience diving it? Just looking for general information, thanks!

Sorry if this comes off as rude but why would you buy a set of regs first and then start asking about general info about them, diving experience, etc.

Also the fact that you can't find much info on them and I have never seen anyone actually using these regs for tech diving might tell you something about them.

The seconds are the classic all-metal Mares Abyss with a new faceplate. The firsts are yet another dress up of the basic Mares balanced diaphragm setup they've been using since the MR22 was introduced 25 years ago, arguably even since the MR12 appeared 50 years ago. They've stuck one of their cold water kits on top and added 4 extra LP ports on the bottom, so it should work in any water and with any hose configuration.

All in all, this is very well proven set of components that can easily handle deep and cold environments. In typical Mares fashion, they've played around with the cosmetics but not messed with the function. As to those cosmetics, IMO the new Abyss faceplate looks great, but the first stages look like chromed trolls.

I've done more digging and it looks like this might be a Mares 72x with cold water kit, and environmentally sealed. Thanks for the response and help :)
