Mares X-vision Mask

Hi there. Just bought this mask. Instructions say not to use any abrasive products and if it fogs to use an anti-fog product. In the past, with any mask I've bought, I've used a toothpaste scrub prior to use. Would that be a problem with this mask?

Hi Marg,

Thanks for purchasing a Mares product. I'm sure you will enjoy your new mask. It is ok to clean the lenses with toothpaste. Have no fear other than a little mint in the nose if you don't rinse it well. Seriously, it is ok and will present no problems to the mask. The warning is for heavy abrasive products that could potentially scratch the lenses.
