Hi guys,
I have this old(ish) but very little used Mares BC (model Syncro pro) and upon trying to inflate it today I discovered that the air is going out almost instantly trough some factory made holes located around the waist belt's fixing points. I'm attaching the photos, not sure if this model has an inner bladder, probably not. This happens trough all 4 points on both belt fixing points of the BC

Do you have a question to ask? Looks like you have an old BCD that leaks from multiple attachment/stress points and you should not give any thought at all to a repair.

No, it doesn't leak "from multiple attachment/stress points". It leaks air trough what appear to be some small factory-made drain holes.

Obviously the question is whether this model has an inner bladder and if yes could it be that the inflator is pushing the air between the bladder and the outer shell of the BC? The air is coming out VERY fast, the bladder would have to be totally teared apart to allow this to happen.
Vest has seen very little use and looks like new.

Sorry, the photos do not make it obvious that the holes are manufactured. Your theory is possible. The primary question is does it hold air when you fill it all the way? Overfill carefully to check the OPV valves, then leave it sit fully inflated overnight. If those are drain holes, there must also be several others to avoid retaining water between a bladder and a cover.

Unfortunately I cannot get better photos with the phone but those are clearly factory made holes (3-4mm in diameter) located at each corner of the two belt attachments.
The BC doesn't hold air at all (everything comes out very quickly trough these 8 holes, 4 for each attachment point) , this is why I'm thinking that maybe the bladder got loose from the power inflator connection so most of the air simply goes between the bladder and the outer shell.

I'll try to take a good picture of the power inflator's valve located on the BC, maybe someone knows how to disassemble it (if possible).
