Mares Quad computer wont work underwater.

My Mares quad show surface display, but doesn't change on entering the water. I've tried a new battery, and checked the settings, but it doesn't seem to switch to dive mode when submerged. Any ideas or suggestions ??

dead wet sensor probably.

From the manual:

pre-dive (Quad Air is on the surface but actively monitoring ambient pressure, so that it can begin to calculate a dive the instant it is submerged below 1.2m/4ft)

Try diving below that depth?

My old Mares Quad wouldn't start a dive until 11 feet down (in freshwater at altitude—I don't remember if that changed in the ocean). It was super annoying when the bottom was only 10 feet. Solid computer other than that.
