Mares Instinct in UK Waters?

Hi, very new to scuba diving an looking at my first regulator purchase. I like the looks and feel of the Instinct 12s an Instinct 52. I would like to know if these regulators need the cold water kit to be used at UK inland and offshore dive locations.

Can you advise please?

I have the Instinct 12s and I'm diving in Denmark. It's worked perfectly, even as far down as 38m... never a single problem.
