Hi

I am looking at getting a new pair of fins and my prefered choice is between the Mares Volo ABS or Quattro ABS Fins. Most of my Diving is done in Hot climate Thailand/ Eygpt / Australia.

Is one better than the other ?? or are they designed for different kinds of diving.

Thanks for any info..

Sorry don't know how I missed this one. The two fins are designed differently. Basically the Volo Powers are an "easy" fin to kick with, yet provide good power and support all kickstrokes. This is facilitated by the OPB (optimal pivoting blade) technology. One will experience very little resistance on the legs while kicking, ultimately increasing bottom time due to less air consumption from fatigue. The quattros are an incredible mid to mid-high price point fin. Still the fin of choice for many professionals. All paddle style fin, awesome water channelling properties, very sturdy and solid. Great power as well. If you have any other questions feel free to be specific. You may also get more personal feedback in the mask/snorkel/fin forum.
