Zak,

I have gone through the forum and appreciate the support you providing.
It's amassing to see internationally many of mares customers has the same issue when the local distributor cannot support us.

I suppose I am one of those and looking to get some support initially form my local dealer who turns me over to the Australian distributors who then could not support what’s so ever.

I am an owner of a nemo stainless watch which is only now just over a year old with 60 dives in it.

the time came to replace the battery on the unit which was done successfully however during the operation one of the screws lost its threads and not its not securing the cover properly which means I am running into danger of damaging it by water that may leak.

The importer in Australia told me that this part is not available and I have no option but to buy a new watch........ They must be kidding me right??

So I am here as well because I am unable to find support from the head office since their email is not showing on the site.

Could I ask you to advice me as to where to I go next as a less than a dollar part is stopping me from diving.

I would appreciate your support and thank god you are out there.

Tony,

Please give me until Monday to work on this. Our office is closed for the New Year holiday. These screws are available and can be ordered. I'm not sure what the circumstances are in Australia, but I will look into it for you.

Happy New Year.

Zak

I really do appreciate your help on this one.
I wish all mares Australian distributors eg: (cape byron imports) are as knowledgeable about the product as you.
Unfortunately they have demonstrated not worth dealing with so far..

looking forward for your overseas contact to obtain the screws.

regards
Tony

I have an issue I want to contact Mares about but don't know who to talk to... I purchased the Mares ICE Proton. Then following year it switched to the she dives :( I have been a laughing stock of my dive group. I wanted to find out for one, why they made the light blue a she dives? and if mares can either hook me up with different color plastics or let me know where i can get them. I was pretty upset when I spent over $600 on a reg that was pretty sweet then it switched to a female reg! If anyone has some advice for me on this one i would be appreciative. I just took an ICE diving class a few weeks ago, I would love to change the look of my reg for our next dive.. Thanks everyone!

Chris, send me a pm with your contact info including email. I may have a good manly solution for you. Sorry for the delay, I've been stuck in ATL for 4 days due to their inability to deal with a little snow. ;(

Best,

Chris,

a 2nd stage cover assembly can be ordered by your local Mares dealer. It is black and will essentially turn your reg into a current Proton regulator. I hope you find this a good solution.

Part # is 46200525

Best regards,

Hello,
I have bought your underwater computer Mares Nemo in Egypt in the official dealer. Because of not careful behaviour it has fallen, glass has broken but device continues to work.
I am in Ukraine and service centers which are specified on your site have refused to fix it.
Tell what to do in this case? Is it possible to send the device to you? And how much replacement of glass and posting will cost approximately?
Thanks in advance,
Kirill

Sorry to revisit this festering issue; but I've just been all over the Mares website and have a similar frustration in finding nobody to contact.

The retailer search is great; but the results seem to be pretty useless as they are out of date - the stores listed don't stock Mares gear.
I'm in Australia, and it's almost a universal response when you walk into a store here that "they don't stock Mares stuff", which sounds pretty ominous.

I want to look at a new wetsuit and fins and I have no idea where to go. And I have to ask the question on a public forum (?)

any help appreciated
