OK, it's official -- once again, my bracket looks like Bonnie and Clyde's car. Kentucky and Stanford losing eliminated both of my finalists. I just hope I don't totally finish in dead last, although it's beginning to look that way. :frown:

Don't feel bad, i think you & i will be racing for last place togeather.

Its funny, after the first round, i was in about as good of shape as i ever have been. After the second round my bracket is in as bad of shape as i ever remember it. LMAO!

Come on Red Wings! :)

Ok... well, the football pool was quite a bit more exciting then the madness pool.. but congrads Tony [I think that's you ;)]

FWIW, the final official results were:
1) s001awt - 61 points
2) TostitoBandito - 57 points
3) JustAddWater - 55 points
4) Spectre - 41 points
5) ScubaTexan - 38 points 147 tie breaker
6) Scalper - 38 points 137 tie breaker

Now. I apologize, I had intended to set it up so you got 1 point for the first round, 2, 3, 5, 7 and 10 for the final winner; with an extra point per seed number for upsets.

That would have made it [if I got it right]:
1) s001awt - 81 [20 from bonus points]
2) TostitoBandito - 75 [15 from bonus] and 160 tiebreaker
3) JustAddWater - 75 [10 from bonus] and 161 tiebreaker
4) Spectre - 69 [2]
5) ScubaTexan - 58 [1]
6) Scalper - 45 [7]

(dateline: 3/18/04) We'll see. These early round games don't count for too much (in the 2 pools I play) as long as you have a few teams that go deep.

But it looks like Ken is again funding another office winner.

I suck. This is why its called MADNESS...

K

In an office pool of about 30 people, I came in Second Place

SECOND.

I missed first place by 1 stinking point.

I rule.

Some casheesh and some chest puffing is in order for moi.

I knew it all along. ;) Call me Nos.

Now that the March Madness is out of the way, is anyone up for a Stanley Cup game, if I can find one? I don't know offhand what's out there, but if I find something, I'll let you guys know. :biggrin2:

p.s. --

GO STARS!!!

Ha...and I only picked 1 final 4 team...I appreciate you all laying down for me after my stellar football season.

You should all be very worried about the upcoming Football season...as I am curshing my NASCAR league opponents right now.
