BT, you seem to know alot about the Mexican Riviera. My son and I learned to dive in Sodwana Bay, South Africa last April. In February we are going to Sharm El Sheik and 3/30 to 4/10 we are going to Cancun (as I have a timeshare week I must use up).

Can you recommend the best people to do our Advanced Open Water course with?

I have dived a lot in Cozumel but never from the mainland so I wouldn't know who to recommend. You can search the Mexico forum for suggestions or post your request there and I'm sure you'll get a lot of helpful advice. Best of luck to you and have a good trip.
