You saw a paddlefish???? I've been in that hole hundreds of times and have yet to see one!! Crap!

Yep! It was pretty shallow, only down about 20feet or so, we were diving along the wall by the shallow end.

My wife said that I look like a paddlefish so it probably mistook me for one of its own!

If you want to see lots of paddlefish, head on down to Mermet Springs. I had one sitting right in front of me feeding, they just open up their mouths to be about 6" in diameter and sift! That one was by a wall too but at about 90ft.

Must take a camera next time!

Ok I will "BITE" What the heck is a Paddlefish? This should be something to look forward to when I get up that way.
