Be there in March 7-12. Not sure who we're diving with, I went through a shop.

How cold is the water going to be? I don't even have a wetsuit, I've done most of my diving in texas in the summer, or the keys/costa rica. Do I need to invest in a 3mil?

With drift diving you just let the curent take you with very little work on your part. People tend to get cold fast without protection plus the dives are normaly longer then other places. With this in mind you could always let water in to a suit if you get hot during the dive but getting warm once cold is normaly call the dive time. I have also found as I become more and more relaxed in the water I get colder. They are cheap enough so pick up a 3mm full and stay warm.

Yup!!! With so many going in March, makes me wonder if there's anyone left to go in April!!! :laughing:

+1 -- my son and I did two 65 minute dives today and got a bit chilly at the end of each dive. Might be time to break out the shorty. Water was 79°F and gorgeous today.

Can't really pack yet because I'm still diving but my wife's gear is serviced and inspected.

I will be there over spring break, staying at Hotel Cozumel, the end of the month, however
I do have the first week of march off, and will proubably head down then too
depending on the weather here. If it's bad here, I'm down there. Hard to head south when
it's 50 deg here in february. Just had all my gear serviced and I'm ready to dive.
I usually dive with Scuba-Du.

I'm not sure how Cozumel compares to Bonnaire so i wanted to ask about water temperatures during early March. I ready they could be low 80's so i wanted to ask if its shorty, full-3ml or rash guard / board shorts water? I'm thinking shorty for warmth to 3mill to minimize the stingers...
