Hello all,
Howard and Pete nailed us down at DEMA so we thought we would finaly join! For thoes of you who did not know that the two compaines have merged. I will post the press release below. We are working with the scuba Board staff to get set up so please give us some time.

Manta Industries and High Seas Millwork Join Forces
Coventry, Connecticut- July 12th, 2010

It is with great pleasure that Manta Industries and Highseas Millwork announce the merger of two great forces. As of July 12, 2010, Manta Industries and Highseas Millwork will be run by Privateer Divers LLC. Gregory Dubas and Robert Stollen of Manta Industries, Inc will stay on staff as consultants to Manta Industries and Highseas Millwork. Dealers and customers can expect the same level of customer service and quality products they have come to expect, the transition will be seamless. Highseas Millwork by Privateer Divers is dedicated to providing high quality technical dive hardware and accessories. In addition, Privateer Divers specializes in designing and building high-end harness systems.

On a side note, this year I was introduced to how awesome the Manta JR is for a reel. We use them here in the St. Clair River (High Current). We drift dive off a boat and have reels attached to a drift buoy flag. The Manta Jr. makes it easy to one handed release the spool and then to release and lock the spool in at a certain depth.

Glad to see you guys on here....was nice meeting you at DEMA as well. I'm hoping to try out my Manta SR this weekend. In hindsight I should have gone with the JR....I guess I'll just have to order one of those too.

I am sure you will like your SR. You should always carry a JR s a back up tho!!!!:D
