Manila Airport Hotel

Anyone ever stay there? Any other alternatives close to the airport?

We're flying into Manila late (arrive 1130 and flying out to Legazpi at 7am the following morning) so not worth heading into town to stay at a proper hotel.

is that the one right at the exit ramp from arrivals? never tried it... (of course never had to...)

if you arrive at 1130, that means you'll clear customs and immigration by 1230?

and if you fly out at 7 it means you're in the terminal by 5?

5 hours more or less... you can rest in airforce one or sogo hotel in pasay (about 10 mins away... at that time of day maybe even 5)

or victoria court... if i was in transit for that amount of time i'd seriously consider it...

Thanks for the suggestions Jag but I think my gf would neuter me if I suggested we go to AF1... or I'd find out how many floors an u/w DSLR rig can fall before shattering to small pieces...

since victoria may also not be an option. try heritage hotel. its a "proper" hotel and just a few minutes away from the domestic airport. specially since you will be travelling late at night and early morning=no traffic.

I stayed at Heritage on a very similar stopover last year (land 10:30pm, depart on the first flight next morning to HK) - it was fine - big rooms, good check in staff and plenty of taxis.

Go for the Heritage, you know it makes sense.

Also I have a mental image of your hotel room at 3AM, gf sleeping the peace of the righteous in the big comfy double bed (post-flight headache suddenly - and miraculously - vanished), your side empty with the covers thrown back, and you with your face squashed up against the glass of the hotel room window, sweating and dry-mouthed with pent-up lust and sexual anguish, trying to check out the hookers on the opposite side of the road in the glare of the neon lights.

Please help make this a reality. Do it for me.

Oh BTW, I'll be in the Heritage on the night of the 31st - I just sorted out a lightning PG visit for that weekend. It's been 8 days now, so I'm getting withdrawal symptoms.
