The cross bar is complete malarky with those captured Orings and DIN fittings. OMS is just experimenting to experiment here since there's nothing "broken" on normal barrel faced manifolds needing fixing. The low profile marketing bits are complete BS since the tanks create a higher profile than the manifold anyway (assuming you are in decent trim). If you really need low profile, you need sidemount anyway.

OMS is also famous for <ehem> "customer service" so don't expect to be able to get all those custom orings and other service parts down the road.

Just get a standard sea-elite, halcyon, dive rite, thermo, or HOG barrel faced manifold. The parts are 99% interchangable, readily available anywhere and they don't have the poor track record OMS does on support.

Good solid and basic eqt. the Thermo manifold. I personally prefer Dive Rite myself-that's just me. good luck and safe diving!

Just a point of interest that might not apply to most but those low profile valves limit the connection to DIN only.
Probably not a consideration for Tech diving but if the set were broken up and someone wanted to dive them as a single with a yoke for whatever reason they would be SOL.
