Makes sense tbone
To the OP: a good example of why you should always test your tanks and not trust the sticker, even with a reputable dive shop...
I went to get an O2 fill in a tank recently. Newer employee was there that I didn't recognize. Dropped off my tank. When I went to pick it up, newer employee still there and went to check me out. I told them before I left I wanted to analyze the tank. They said "oh yeah I forgot." There was a sticker there that said "100% 20ft." I analyzed it in front of them and only got 85%. Turns out they didn't drain what was in the tank previously before filling it and the new person didn't actually analyze it themselves.
Anyways, even reputable dive shops can make mistakes. Owner apologized. You never know who actually fills your tanks or if someone makes a mistake. You're responsible for your own tanks and what is in them/what you are diving.
