I didn't hear of that trip even though I wouldn't have been able to go anyway. I just got back this weekend from doing the Crystal River snorkel with the manatees and diving the Kings Spring and also 2 dives at Paradise Springs. Manatees were awesome but the gaggle of snorkelers was to much to fully enjoy. There were about 8 boats anchored when we got there (American Pro). I would say there was probably around at least 75 people in the water. I did get to see around 5-7 manatees including a young one. I will post pictures sometime this week or next when I get more time.
You'll enjoy the 72 degree water and I was just fine in my 3mm. The caves weren't my thing because I like to see marine life not just walls.

Sounds like great fun pairizarry.......except for all the people. Looking forward to seeing the pics you took. This will be my first Manatee experience so I am looking forward to the trip. I always like to do new and different dives, as I guess we all do.

I can't make this trip, but a group from NC is also going to the springs that same weekend.

I am hooking in with them for a trip to the Indra in April. There are still a couple of spaces left on that trip. They are also doing a warm up dive for it to Lake Rawlings in March. Check out their group on SB - NC Wreck Divers or www.wreckmaniac.com. They have a lot of trips planned for this summer.

Nice to see another WV on the board.

I just got back too . There where more people then fish, let alone manatees. But I still had a good time.
