Manado Duty Free and Express Air

We just got our tickets from Manado to Sorong. Express Air checked weight is 10kg. We planned to take vodka in our bag, but are rethinking. Does Manado have duty free shops and what time do they open? We arrive Manado at 1:15 pm on 3/16.Our flight leaves 3/17 at 6:00 am.

There is no duty free zone at Manado airport; There are only a couple of small souvenir shops in the aiport. I doubt very much they sell vodka. You'll see it is a very small airport. To kill time between your two flights, you might want to hire a taxi that will show you around Manado (the Chinese temple, for example) or to one of the shopping mall...

Alcohol in Indonesia is expensive. You will find local brands to be less so. In Manado stores, it is not always out front, and you may have to ask for, as it may be in a back room or such. Most likely harder to find in Sorong.

If you are staying overnight in town, the two grocery stores in MegaMall will have. Ritzy hotel is nice and convenient with infinity pool.

From Manado to Sorong, they'll likely not pay much attention to your carry-on, like how much or what it weighs, as long as it's all "reasonable" size, like things that could go into overheads or under seats.

If you buy it duty free in Singapore and you are going to overnight in Manado, don't you have to go through security again in Manado before you board your flight the next morning? I can't remember if they have you put your carry on through x-ray or not?
