Great trip report dowfornow. What a great opportunity to get wet and have some fun plus the beach is only a few miles away. Another nice side trip is to visit Brazosport's college world class shell collection and also the Sea Center has nice exhibits all are close to the Lake. Mike and his group are doing everything they can to cater to divers and our sport.

They this it is getting pretty close to the full depth. It may come up a few more feet but not much. Right now it is 61' on my Sunnto and 60' on my uwatec in deep hole. I dove part of "Sand Lake" which is directly behind the shop yesterday and got as deep as 46'.

There is a website for Mammoth Lake being created but for right now there is just the Hydrosports Scuba website.

Here is the link to the Mammoth Lake photos again:

It's really to bad in the planning there had not been an area planned some deeper...say a solid 70ffw....or was there and it just did not work as planned?

Still looking forward to a trip down to give the pond a swim!

As far as I know they were shooting for 60'. Being that it was a sand pit that was allowed to be filled by the water table the depth is controlled by mother nature.

Well then it sounds like they are getting close from your data of recent.
