Maldives

Hi everyone,

I'm going to visit the Maldives in October for the first time.
I'm pretty new to diving, did my OPW last October on Mauritius.
I've planned 10 days and have absolutely no idea which Atoll to go to. I prefer smaller and quieter locations, so no all inklu luxury hotel.
Any recommendations?

South Ari Atoll - local island Dhangethi and Digurah for whale shark and good corals
Maafushi - sharks / eagle rays / mantas /small wrecks
Baa Atoll - World famous Hanifaru Bay
Fuvamalah - Tigers / thresher and hammerheads
Kaafu Atoll - manta / sharks
Rasdhoo / Thoddoo / Ukulus varies
