Hi guys, just a quick note for anyone coming or considering this trip.... as the Thresher/Manta dive at Monad shoal is a 25m/80ft dive we do request AOW, or deep dive experience... please bear this in mind so you are not disappointed.

And btw I saw a nice big thresher today, and a manta which must have been 20ft from wing tip to wing tip...not a bad day at the office

Hi everyone, am booking flight today and would hope you can help me with dates. Arriving cebu on 28 October, overnight in cebu. Then depart 29 October for dive. Return to Cebu when??? Also, my carrier will be cebu pacific since they are on promo now.

Can I get specific dates on the trip. Many thanks all!

Lung, we return to Cebu on 1 November. We leave Malapascua island for Cebu City around 10am. Our flight back to Manila (PAL) is 5pm.

ps - Iris is leaving early for Cebu City, 7am? to make her 3pm flight back to Singapore.

Thanks clgsamson. Okay sounds good will finalize my flight details. Will PAL have those flights? as far as I know, they are having trouble with pilots.

What about lodging in Cebu? anyone staying the night on the 28th?

Ok ladies and gentlemen...

I'm attempting to set this thread back on course for a brief moment to help Lung, and to clarify details.

So the schedule stands as -

Oct 28 depart manila for cebu... sleep in cebu overnight (most people staying in ParkLane????)
Oct 29 leave at dawn for malapascua... rest or do 1... maybe even 2 dives
Oct 30 wake up before dawn to hope to God there's a thresher... dive the rest of the day
Oct 31 same pre-dawn stuff if threshers a no-show
Nov 1 leave malapascua, fly back to manila
dives as outlined by Iris way back on about page 3.

I think this is the most up to date name list - please let me know if you are missing
