Malapascua trip for 2010

Ok, now that accomodation in Malapascua has been booked. I need information on hotels for the overnighter in Cebu. I've been looking at hotels.com and am unsure wether I should book for a hotel near the airport or the city centre. Any suggestions?

I've looked at the following

Cebu Parklane International Hotel - 1.6 kilometers to city centre
Waterfron Airport Hotel Casino - from Cebu Mactan Intl. Airport (CEB)
Crown Regency Suites Mactan - 2.3 kilometers from Cebu Mactan Intl. Airport (CEB)
Crown Regency Residences Cebu - 1.8 kilometers to city centre

Also, anyone else looking at sharing a private transfer vehicle with me? I received some rates from Matt and they look quite reasonable. I think 3-4 people would be quite comfortable with all our dive bags. Any takers?

Hey Guys,
Off topic but desperately looking for some info, I will be relocating to Malapascau I have an abandoned dog I picked up here in Spain and I am trying to bring her with me, could any of you give me any advice on the best way to get her over there? Right now through regular airline cargo it is going to cost me 11/2 times my ticket price for her.

if you''re on the same schedule as the rest of us (leave cebu oct. 29 early am) then we can pool together the private vans...

the more the cheaper as i think we're already booked on 2 vans...

Yup, that's what I'm shooting for. Same flight as Coya, or probably even earlier.
