I think Caloy is going for Parklane in Cebu which is great value for money...

In Malapascua there's a number of choices depending what you want in terms of budget, a/c, hot water, close to beach or not... Dano is a good combo of near to beach, and with options of a/c or not. No hot water though. Not many places with hot water really...

Kuan Ba is cheaper but back from the beach and not as nice. Other options include Hippocampus and Cocobana, but they are quite far away.

We will have a couple of cottages in front of the beach by then right by the Evolution diveshop and resto...

i've got the wife and child with me and will definitely want to spend time with them... i'll go for about 5 dives... maybe 1-2 more depending on sked, destination, itinerary and whether or not the shark showed up on the 1st dive

what are the realistic options for shore dives? esp if i can't join you guys for a whole day on matt's fancy boat

What? No 5pm mandarin fish mating dives at Lighthouse? I would also recommend diving Bantigi at night as well if you have the chance. I know - gets in the way of dinner and drinks. But you've gone all the way to Malapascua...

as for the hot water, we'll just buy one of those portable water heater ones. i'm sure we'll find one in the cebu malls.
