Had a chance to leave Seattle last week and dive Maui area. We sure enjoyed the Mala Pier: had a great Frogfish/Trumpet/Turtle kind of dive. Fun area!

it can be ... Lahaina Divers usually dives it as part of their "wreck" package in the afternoon. Most of the locals just chuckle as they walk out from the shore :)

I have a site review and video of the dive here Aloha Shore Divers if you're interested (scroll about halfway down the page)

Great video Tim!! We've done Mala only with Lahaina Divers and now that they simply give you a time back on board and let you do your own dive, it's a much better experience than it used to be. One of these days, we'll have to give it a go as a shore dive....or convince you to meet us and guide us out. :D
