Yeah but didn't you always want to put your fins on as easily as your skis? Isn't that worth a few dozen extra euros?

Half fisherman. Aka a simple overhand knot on the standing part.

No zip ties, thread.

Cleaner and neater than a stop knot on the tag end and as safe against the knot slipping
