Rick & I are staying at the Black Durgon, June 6th thru the 13th, taking the red eye out of Newark, NJ. Love staying at the Durgon, small, no frills and right on the Small Wall.
Another great place is the Golden Reef, off the water, but rooms and people there are really nice. They have a nice place to keep your gear and wash area for your gear.
You can't beat either place.
Hope to see ya there, just counting the days now until we're in paradise.

I agree..6 in a truck is tough..and sitting in the cab in the sun gets old and potentially dangerous to ones health. Any travel agent can provide a great price. It's high season but some deals prevail.

probably will do best at Buddys in a 3 bedroom unit.
A van is included in the 3 bedroom units,so there will be space for all ,instead of a pickup truck that really is fit for no more than 4 people.

What is the best deal for June 5-13th? PM me, post whatever, I have a group of 6, I have only been to Buddy, so give a poor OWSI a deal for his first group trip.
I know 6 is not many, but it is what I got, maybe next trip will be 20.

PS - 6 in a truck? Please! You'll want to load 3-4 tanks each in the AM to avoid driving back and forth to your resort all day. 16 tanks, 6 sets of gear, etc, etc. Forget it. Plus, no way you can sleep six in the back of one truck!

But seriously, the bed of the truck is a great place to stand to gear up/gear down and not get sand all over everything. Pretty crowded with 6.

Buddy was all booked up. no room at the inn.

we are staying at Capt. Dons. this time and plan to visit all of the other resorts mentioned for next time, we are taking a rather old mother in law with bad hips so waterfront was required this time. next time maybe i will take a full shop group.
